New Gold Band: Empowering Youth through Music

The New Gold band, inspired by reggae artist Black Prophet, is a transformative initiative aimed at empowering underprivileged youth in Ghana’s slums. Serving as a beacon of hope, it steers them away from the perils of illegal migration by providing firsthand experiences and education on legal migration processes through music and life experiences. Founded on Black Prophet’s journey, the band nurtures musical talents while educating on the realities of migration, offering touring experiences worldwide and advocating for informed decision-making.

Through music and real-life stories, the New Gold band equips youth with the understanding that legal migration is the pathway to sustainable opportunities. By becoming advocates within their communities, they aim to dissuade others from illegal migration and foster a brighter, more informed future. The band members, beyond musicians, are ambassadors of change, shaping a narrative of empowerment and education for their communities.
